The Nike Kyrie 5 “Friends” is a special edition of Kyrie Irving’s fifth signature basketball shoe paying homage to the classic 1990s TV sitcom. A favorite show of Irving's, “Friends” is represented on the shoe with its logo from the opening credits on a tab added to each heel. That logo also inspires the overall colorway in black for the mesh upper and flytrap-inspired support sheath with blue, yellow, red, and white accents. The colors are also repeated on the outsole’s unique tread design. The limited edition Nike Kyrie 5 “Friends” released on May 16, 2019.
